How it all started

Our team, together with other year 3 students at Balgowlah Heights Public School and Bush to Bowl, a local indigenous nursery, joined forces to help save the endangered Sunshine Wattle.

To date, we have germinated over 500 Sunshine Wattle seeds and once they reach tube stock size they will be ready for planting in our local environment.

This will significantly increase the number of Sunshine Wattle plants in our local area and is just the first step in our efforts to save the Sunshine Wattle.
